So when does this all happen?

The Downtown Dayton Revival will be rocking stages on September 8th and 9th from noon to 11pm each day. However, we have some fun parties already rolling on social media and with contests, so make sure to check us out on Twitter, Facebook, and our Contests page.

Could the Downtown Dayton Revival sell out?

Yes. We are that awesome. So make sure to get your tickets now.

    Why Dayton?

Why not? It’s the Gem City. It rocks. And so do you.

Can kids come? Do I have to pay for them?

Start ‘em young! Having kids doesn’t mean the end to great music…it just means the start to a new generation of music lovers! Check out our age policies here

What about alcohol? Will there be adult beverages allowed?

Umm..what kind of party are you used to? Of course we will have adult beverages available for purchase – thanks Budweiser! (But the normal rules apply…21+, no carry ins, and be responsible.)

What can I bring in with me?

Humans with a good attitude. Also, for more specific do’s and don’ts, check out our full list here.

Why did you choose those artists?

Because they are freaking sweet. Amazing entertainers was the bar we set. Duh!

How did you pick who would headline each night?

Drew them out of a hat. They are all incredible; someone has to close out each night, though.

    Where can I stay?

My house is already full, but you can check out the accommodations page for some other places in town.

When does it all get started?

Now. The pre-party kicks off now with our contests, but the weekend of the event, we will see you at high noon.

Where exactly is this going to be held?

We have secured several city blocks in downtown Dayton. Check out our stages page to see the layout of the party.

    How will parking work?

Parking and shuttle service will be readily available and details can be found here.

    What will volunteering entail?

Blood. Sweat. And Tears. Just kidding…sort of.
Check out our volunteer’s page, and sign up to be cool.

Why is it called the Downtown Dayton Revival?

Revival is defined as an instance of something becoming popular, active, or important again. And that’s what we hope this festival can do. Also, it is being held in Dayton. Downtown. So, yeah…

So, why didn’t certain bands make the lineup?

Unfortunately there just isn’t enough time in the two days to allow for all the great bands – both local and national – that we’d love to have play at our event. We do regret that we don’t have enough room to include everyone we wanted – however we sincerely hope those same great bands consider sending a submission to be part of the 2013 lineup!

Interested in performing at the Downtown Dayton Revival?

Who wouldn’t be? The final lineup for our 2012 festival is complete, but artist submissions can be sent to info@downtownrevival.com in Q1 of 2013 for next year’s festival. We are great music junkies, so send some our way.

Why do I have to pay those ‘convenience fees’ when purchasing my tickets?

The added fees you see when purchasing tickets are needed to cover processing fees with Ticket Biscuit and to cover all credit card transaction related fees. While nobody likes added fees, these in particular help keep the overall cost of tickets down by saving us from having to pay for a box office and all the costs associated with that (electric, phone, internet utilities, staffing and payroll, etc.). We did not want to “hide” these fees into the cost of the tickets as they are additional costs that cover the afore mentioned services, not the festival itself. We want to make rocking affordable for everyone, and this is one of the ways we are able to do it.

How can I get VIP passes?

Everyone is important. Some people just get extra perks. While we are not making VIP passes available for purchase, we are giving them away through our many planned contests. Find out how you can be a part of that group by going to our contests page.

We are also thanking our wonderful sponsors with some passes, so shoot us an email if you want to sponsor a great event in Dayton (and get to party like a rock star at the same time).

Is your site secure when I enter my credit card info? I don’t see the “https”?

Because Ticket Biscuit’s pages are embedded on our site, you don’t see the https. If you were able to access the ticket purchasing page outside the IFRAME, you would see the secure https symbols but the embedding prevents this. I assure you the purchasing page / credit card information is still secure!

When you are on the ticket purchasing page and are about to enter your credit card information, you should see the DigiCert logo / icon that you can click to verify it is in fact secure. Ticket Biscuit calls this the Geo Trust logo – and you can verify the security certificate by clicking on it. Any time you see that logo (on our site or facebook page when purchasing tickets) you can be rest assured that it is secure. We do not want to put anyone’s information at risk!
