Butter Café
Looking for some of the best breakfast food in Dayton? Then look no further than Butter Café! With delicious pancakes, French toast, omelettes, and all of your breakfast favorites, this is the place to fuel up before you come to the Downtown Revival to rock! Plus, Butter Cafe supports sustainable cooking! Their ingredients consist of food that is healthy for consumers and animals, does not harm the environment, is humane for workers, respects animals, provides a fair wage to the farmer, and supports and enhances rural communities – so you can feel good about the great food including vegan and gluten-free options! Feel like a little evening dining? Butter Cafe will be open Thursday through Saturday from 6pm-10pm serving all sorts of delicious comfort food!!
Dublin Pub
The Dublin Pub is Dayton’s only Authentic Irish Pub. Located in the Historic Oregon District at the corner of Fifth St. & Wayne Ave, this rocking venue is just down the street from The Downtown Revival! One of Dayton’s favorites, The Dublin Pub was voted best Fries in Dayton and is home of Ohio’s largest St. Patrick’s Day. You will definitely want to rock here while you’re downtown!
Ghostlight Coffee
Ghostlight Coffee is taking back the neighborhood coffee houses in a DELICIOUS way! From their handcrafted espresso beverages to their one of a kind cold brew, there is a reason that Ghostlight Coffee has been named the official coffee of the Downtown Dayton Revival! Located on Wayne Avenue, this Dayton favorite keeps locals caffeinated through the day and often entertained in the evening with music, poetry, story slams, art openings, game nights, record spins, and more! Make sure to caffeinate with the Dayton favorite before you come to rock.
Jimmie’s Ladder 11
Jimmie’s Ladder 11 is a full service restaurant and bar as well as one of Dayton’s premier music venues. The interior of Dayton’s oldest firehouse has been carefully restored and decorated to tell the story of the century-old historical landmark. At the center of the bar is an enormous replica steam engine housing 9 of the 12 tap handles. Owner and chef, Jimmie Brandell, has created a diverse menu ranging from classic bar food to fine dining; as well as, sandwiches inspired by another Dayton gem, The Upper Krust. You absolutely have to try his Paisano Pasta Chips and his amazing homemade soups. Jimmie is still putting out huge portions of honest food that many in the area came to expect from his last bar and grill, Jimmie’s Cornerstone. Make sure to stop by Saturday night, September 8 for the “Official Unofficial After-Party” with some of the Gem city’s best musicians and artists!
Ritter’s Frozen Custard of Kettering
Located on Wilmington Ave, Ritter’s Frozen Custard has been making the best frozen treats in Dayton for years! With new flavors of frozen custard to choose from daily and delicious Italian ice, this local favorite is the perfect place to cool down after a long day of rocking at the Downtown Dayton Revival. AND, they are going to have a vendor booth at the festival to make that easy for you. Make sure to stop by their stand while you rock and come back to their Kettering location often!
Thistle Confections
THE bakery of Downtown Dayton, Thistle Confections has quickly made a name for itself in town with its delicious baked goods – you do NOT want to miss their whoopie pies! – and can be found at 2nd Street Market, Ghostlight Coffee, and the Neon Movie Theater. If you have a sweet tooth craving, make sure to check out these artisan confections filled with locally grown and locally sourced ingredients and lots of awesome!
